Reason for joining the company

When I was a student, I studied fields that had little to do with the business of Tadano Engineering.
However, at a company information session I attended with the desire to contribute to my hometown of Kagawa Prefecture, where I was born and raised, the HR staff encouraged me by saying, "There are plenty of opportunities for people who did not study our main field to play an active role." Inspired by their words, I decided to take on the challenge of working at the company.

Work I am in charge of

We create instruction manuals and multilingual nameplates for aerial work platforms.
Usually, I work at a desk, but when a new model is developed, I wear a helmet and inspect the actual machine to check its new functions and appearance.
Since instruction manuals play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of machines, I collaborate with the development team to create manuals that are easy to comprehend without misunderstandings.

What I like about my work

In addition to specialized crane study, you can also participate in training to improve your language skills for work and general business skills. It is an environment where employees can grow together, such as by holding study sessions within the company to utilize the skills they have acquired.
For improving my English, I take online English conversation classes eight times a month.

Good things about joining the company

Work-life balance is good. In 2021, I took maternity leave, and starting in 2022, I returned to work with shorter hours.
The company has supportive systems in place to facilitate working while raising children, such as nursing leave, paid leave, reduced working hours, and telecommuting, and I have utilized all of them.
During my pregnancy, there were times when I couldn't work for several weeks due to poor health. However, the company arranged an online interview and introduced me to a system that allowed me to continue working under such circumstances, and I was told to think about my health first. I was very grateful to receive such support.
